وزیربلدیات نے نوٹس لیتے ہوئے کہاہے کہ اگر کوئی بلدیاتی نمائندہ اس قسم کے غیر قانونی کام میں ملوث ہوا تو اس کے خلاف سخت ایکشن لیا جائے گا ۔ ضلع شرقی جہاں کچرا اٹھانے کا ٹھیکہ چائنیز کمپنیوں کو دیا گیا ہے تاہم گلشن اقبال ٹاﺅن کے یوسی چیئرمین کے حوالے سے شہریوں نے شکایت کی ہے کہ انہوں نے اختیارات سے تجاوز کرتے ہوئے کچرا اٹھانے کا ٹھیکہ نجی کمپنی کو دیدیا ہے۔

علاقہ مکینوں کا کہنا ہے کہ پہلے ڈی ایم سی کے عملے کو کچرا اٹھانے کے سو، پچاس روپے ماہانہ دیتے تھے، وہ بھی اپنی خوشی سے لیکن اب جو نوٹس موصول ہوئے ہیں ان کے مطابق ہر گھر کو کچرا اٹھانے کیلئے ماہانہ 400 روپے دینے ہوں گے۔

دوسری جانب ایم ڈی سندھ سولڈ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ بورڈ اے ڈی سنجرانی کا کہناہے کہ یہ غیر قانونی کام ہے جبکہ وزیر بلدیات سندھ خام خان شورو نے بتایا کہ سولڈ ویسٹ مینجمنٹ بورڈ کے علاوہ کوئی اور کمپنی کام نہیں کرسکتی ، گلشن اقبال یا کسی اور علاقے میں کوئی بلدیاتی نمائندہ اس قسم کے غیر قانونی کام میں ملوث ہوا تو اس کے خلاف سخت ایکشن لیا جائے گا۔
